Madison District Public Schools serves the south end of Madison Heights, Michigan in Greater Detroit—serving 1,350 students. We created an entire cohesive set of logos to connect the district and its grade levels, pre-K thru grade 12. In keeping with traditional school spirit, the Eagles logos show the age progression of the eagle. The challenge was to create a Wildcat logo with a different color palette and still maintain the uniformity. We aimed to convey these marks with pro sports team quality. Lastly, the Madison District mark represents the parent in that it has a more corporate feel while baring resemblance at the top of the hierarchy.
